Can you please help me make this natural?

The wedding planner makes 15 percent of whatever the caterer charges. If the caterer charges 3000 dollars, The wedding planner will ask her clients for 15 percent of what the caterer charged.

Basically the wedding planner asks for 15 percent of everything. 15 percent of the photographer, florist, (the price of) the venue.
