Please Look Into My Motivation Letter

Dear Sirs, Madams,

I was very glad when I saw this scholarship opportunity, and with this letter I hereby wish to state my interest and apply for Master degree program in "water resources" field. I am a graduate of The Islamic University of Gaza holding BSc degree in Civil Engineering.

Since I have a quite experience in civil engineering I believe that Master course in water resources field perfectly suits my profile and career prospects. I do not perceive a graduate degree as an end. I have strong desire to push a head, and I plan to invest a lot in my education to build my career. To fully utilize my time spent in graduate school, I now require a program that can provide me with the best resources, and educational tools available. I believe that all of this will be achieved through your program offered.

I have chosen this program in Belgium among the programs offered by other countries, because I preferred this country as a result of what I have heard from my friends there and from some of what I have read about in some sites on the Internet. Belgium is a country with great advantages because it has high quality of life, And the strength of university education and cultural and linguistic diversity, and is ranked among the safest countries in the world, and is a distinct environment for students wishing to complete their studies or interested in joining the labor market after graduation.

Through my undergraduate studies of some subjects related to water resources such as hydraulics, Hydrology, fluid mechanics, etc., I found myself passionate about this area, especially in the applied part of this knowledge in laboratories.

And through my work in the field of civil engineering I have also learned more about the need of my country for specialists in this field who have the ability to find solutions to the problems it faces. Water in the Gaza Strip faces a clear deterioration in the quantity and quality of water. So that the groundwater reservoir is unable to cover the growing water needs under rapid population growth.

I therefore look forward to being a contributing part in addressing these problems in my country through the knowledge that I will gain in this scholarship program, where I will work to transfer this knowledge, skills and expertise to my country and to develop people who specialize in this field.

This scholarship opportunity I perceive as an extraordinary opportunity to interact with students and scholars from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds coming from all the World. This type of networking is very important for integration of different ideas and perspectives pertaining to diverse global issues.
