Topic: Overpopulation in major urban centers around the world is a major problem. What are the causes of this? How can this problem be solved?

Population in main urban centres around the world has been increasing excessively, and this leads to a lot of problems. The causes of the overpopulation are varied, and in my opinion, these affect negatively to countries even the world.

Two main reasons cause overpopulation are parents do not have family planning and the migration of suburban people to urban areas. Firstly, the population always involve to fertility rate so if parents do not control having babies, it will a considerable problem. Almost governments of different countries advise married couples to have only 2 children, but there is a lot of families have from three to four children. Africa, for example, most citizens of this country has many babies, and they do not care about how much babies they have so this leads to overpopulation. Secondly, people who live in suburban areas tend to move to the city centre for work or living, so this makes major urban centres extremely crowded. People do not think about if everyone move to city centres, which place they will live so in big cities we can see homelessness and unemployment.

To solve overpopulation, parents should promote family planning, and governments need to improve conditions in suburb areas. First of all, parents have to know when they should have babies and they also need to wonder themselves if they have children, do they have enough money to raise their children. Governments should encourage married couples to have a maximum of two babies. Secondly, people live in the countryside often migrate to city centres because they think in city centres will have more jobs and accommodations, and this leads to overpopulation. Therefore, governments need to find effective solutions to increase workplaces for individuals.

In conclusion, migration to urban centres is an important problem which we have to solve. Unless we deal with this problem soon, it will lead to considerable consequences.
