There no need to attend a live performance (for example, a play or concert) because seeing it at home on television is better. To what extent do you agree or disagree

Some people feel that it is pointless to watch a live show such as a play or concert in person since it is easier to see it on TV at home. I completely disagree with this because I feel that unlike watching it at home, attending to a live performance provides a unique experience and it also improves our social interaction.

First of all, being in a live performance can really be euphoric and exhilarating. This is because people can get to feel the dynamic atmosphere around them including lights, sound effects, colorful smoke and the emotions of the singers and actors in the performance. All of these can be felt through our full five senses, which helps the audiences immerse themselves in the performance and make the most of their experiences.

On the contrary, it seems that we can only use our eyes and ears while watching a live concert or a play on TV. And due to this, many can even get bored and drift off. And this never happens when they are in a live performance as people are impacted by a phenomenon called “ crowd effect”. By this I mean, when someone is surrounded by people enjoying the performance, they can be cheered up, even though they are not that enthusiastic about the show.

Second of all, attending a live show can improve our social connection. Apparently, there is going to be a huge number of audiences at the show. And since each group of ages has different tastes of music or types of play, people attending a live performance seem to have the same age, otherwise, the generation gap between them is very narrowed. Thus, they can easily make friends with each other.

In conclusion, I totally disagree with the given premise and believe that being in a live performance is better than watching it on TV at home. This is because people can have a more fulfill experience at the show and get to boost their social connection.
