The diagram illustrates the process of making compost from organic waste.
There are five stages in the production of compost, beginning with an empty, aerated, plastic container and ending with the fertilizer inside it. Five materials are required in this process.
The first step to make compost is to prepare a hollow plastic container with four vents that are symmetrically located on the body of the container, two vents on the left, and two others on the opposite. Afterward, waste food, grass, and newspapers are put inside the container, forming two layers (each layer is 15cm thick). The deepest is waste food, the grass is the second, and newspaper third.
At the three-stage of the process, nitrogen and hot water are added into the mixture. Subsequently, the container is left for six months with its mouth sealed, during this time the mixture starts decomposing, and the heat vapor then releases through the four vents. Finally, the mouth of the container is opened and the mixture then converts into fertilizer ready to use for gardening.

The diagram illustrates the process of making compost from organic waste. ( Very good. This is an exemplary use of the verb "illustrate"! There is a picture. But do not use it for plots -graphs and charts - or tables.)
