PLEASE I need help expressing these thoughts sentences

Could you please help me correct these sentences please?

- I did it now so that/that way I wouldn't have to do it later.

- This lock really locks the cabinets. The old lock , you could just force and it would give way.

- I bought it just to buy it. (what does this mean?)

- He says he's got no money when it suits him/when it's convenient for him/when it's to his advantage, but when he wants to buy something for himself he conveniently has the money to do so.

- I didn't want them to think I was a worse mom than I already am.
