Please I need correction. Reported Speech (unit 7)

Hi Teachers,

I have written this explanation, could you correct it if necessary?

To me to say 'personal pronouns' is not very appropriate. Shouldn't I say 'subject pronouns' instead?

Reported Speech

It is used to report what another person said. It almost never reproduces another person’s exact words. To write reported speech sentences certain changes are necessary.

The most important changes are:

a) Changes in verb tenses

b) Changes in personal pronouns and possessive adjectives and pronouns.

c) Changes in expressions of time.

d) When we change a sentence from Direct Speech to Reported Speech we always remove quotation marks, commas, question marks, and exclamation marks.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Thank you so much for your reply. That's what I thought. The book was wrong.
