Please how to say without being rude

A photographer took pictures of a girl with down syndrome. She asked for someones opinion. How would you say it so that isn't rude?

Which picture does she look best in? Use a picture where her down syndrome is less noticeable.

Down syndrome is acceptable and is actually more common.

I have never seen down syndrome capitalized in a sentence. (Of course, you would capitalize down if it began the sentence.)

A quick google suggests the apostrophe S does indeed seem often omitted. And sometimes there is no capital S for syndrome.
But the capital D seems the norm.
