The diagram below shows the production and processing of milk and dairy products for commercial sale.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.


The process flowchart illustrates the manufacture of milk and dairy products for customer use.

Overall, there are 3 main stages in the process including: milking, storing the milk and producing final results.

First, the cows are raised in a grazing with suitable care, food and water until they are grown enough for milking. And then they are milked two times a day with a special milking machine. The amount of raw milk is then preserved in a refrigeration storage for a period of time before being transported by trucks to the Dairy.

At the next stage, the raw milk is poured into multiples tanks in which it is stored and extracted into pasteurized milk or dairy products. As for dairy products, they include cheese, cream and butter after being processed. The raw milk has to go through a pasteurization stage, at which point it is packaged and delivered to supermarkets and shops where they are ready to be purchased.
