please help...it's snow?????

my child brought me an exercise where the teacher let him write "IT'S SNOW"....without any corrections on it. I usually reasd and find it's snowy and/or it's snowy but I never read it's snow....is it right or not?

Thanks This is what I supposed.if the lesson is about "what's the weather like and he has to fill in sentences such as "in winter...., so the right one shuld be "in winter it's cold and snowy" not it's snow...because snow is the name. right?

Correct. Snow is the noun, and snowy is the adjective.
