Please help with to-be verb

Hello, I am having problem removing to-be verbs from my research paper and can't find any way to replace some of these sentences. If anyone could help, it would be great.

“Somatic cell nuclear transfer” is another process that's currently on many scientist's minds. This process, originally used by Ian Wilmut, has ongoing research conducted to see if the process will work on other animals, or perhaps, a woman.

The pitfall of this research however is that cloned embryos are defective. Human embryos have had no success in the past because of many defects, although primates have successfully cloned without defects.
