I´ve been on this case for 5 years. Can you use present perfect with 5 years? Isn´t it a specific date.

Water and air is essential to the human body. Shouldn´t it be are since both water and air are singular uncount nouns.

There is acid, snot and spit. Shouldn´t it be are since there´s more than one noun.

All my stuff in the briefcase was-were comedy sketches.
