Hi, everybody!

Is it correct to say:
“I'm sorry I have mixed up your account with one of my clients in the company, and wrongly deposited $xxx amount in your account. Rest assured that the balance of $xxx will be put in later today. Will notice you once it has been done.”

I don't understand. Do you mean that you put some money into my account, and later you are going to put more money into my account? Please explain more clearly.

Hi Clive

Yes, I am supposed to put into, let say $500 into my friend's account, but I made a mistake, I only put in $300. So, when I found out that I made this mistake, I want to write a message to notice him about that and let him know that I am going to put in the balance of $200 for him. So, how can I say this clearly? Please help!

It's good to say such things simply.

eg Sorry, I made a mistake. I just put $300 in your account. I'll put in the other $200 later today, and email you to let you know.
