Please help verify my theory

I have been a teacher for years, well, humbly speaking, I think i am quite strong in grammar. But still, in order to avoid mistake, i need some master-level members to verify a theory i have come across.

1. Tomorrow after work, I am going to the beach. (This shows a plan that the writer has made)

2. Tomorrow after work, I will be going to the beach. (This implies it is an usual activity the writer does after work)

Please help me to confirm if my explanations are correct.

Thanks heaps

Awence I have been a teacher for years, and well, humbly speaking, I think I am quite strong in grammar. But still, in order to avoid mistake s , I need some master-level members to verify a theory I have come across. The theory is not really bad, but the implication claimed for the second sentence doesn't hold.

  • Awence I have been a teacher for years, and well, humbly speaking, I think I am quite strong in grammar.
  • But still, in order to avoid mistake s , I need some master-level members to verify a theory I have come across.
  • The theory is not really bad, but the implication claimed for the second sentence doesn't hold.
  • The first sentence does suggest a plan, possibly even a plan suddenly envisioned just before announcing it, but the second does not suggest a usual activity.
  • Instead, it suggests more confidence than the first that the trip to the beach will actually take place, possibly because of a plan established well in advance.

So, I am able to say that both answers are acceptable with a slight difference in terms of writer's intention, according to your explanation?

I was not aware that these were answers. What was the question?

There is the slight difference you mention, however. Yes.
