Please help verify my theory

I have been a teacher for years, well, humbly speaking, I think i am quite strong in grammar. But still, in order to avoid mistake, i need some master-level members to verify a theory i have come across.

1. Tomorrow after work, I am going to the beach. (This shows a plan that the writer has made)

2. Tomorrow after work, I will be going to the beach. (This implies it is an usual activity the writer does after work)

Please help me to confirm if my explanations are correct.

The theory is not really bad, but the implication claimed for the second sentence doesn't hold.
