PLEASE HELP! Urgent assistance required regarding the following saying: "DONT PUSH YOUR PULLEAMES"

I have been challenged to find the meaning of the following statment with a deadline fast approaching. I am unsure on the spellling of the last word but when read aloud you can sound out the word with the spelling i have provided.

The saying is:
"DONT PUSH YOUR PULLEAMES"

I have no idea what this means so please help.

im not sure what context you would use the word in but i have now found the correct spelling,

PULHEEMS

Please help!

A search on Google came up with the following from a site of military slang.

pulheems acronymn for a medical assement - physical upper lower eyes ears .. Anonymous

In the Army, it actually drew a soldier's attention to a perception that he was stretching his luck too far- usually in challenging or subverting authority! Derived from the PULHEEMs test that assessed physical wellbeing- hence the inference that the behaviour could exceed safe limits physically/intitutionally.
