The bar chart illustrates the different birth rate of women in six Gulf countries during the period of 1990 to 2000.



First of all, it is clear to see that the highest rate of birth is in Oman and . Both of them had nearly 7 births in 1990. Otherwise, there were second highest fertility rates of over 4 births per woman in and UAE in the same year. The lowest birth rates were in Bahrain and and they had the similar trends in 1990.



By 2000, the proportion of birth had a drop significantly in all countries.

In Oman and , the figures of fertility per woman decreased over 20% of total. Furthermore, the rate of births went down remarkably to over 25% in and UAE.



From the information shows on the bar chart, it can be concluded that there was a downward trend of fertility per woman in these six Gulf countries from 1990 to 2000.

First of all, it is clear to see that the highest birth rates are in Oman and Saudi Arabia. Both of them had nearly 7 births in 1990. (only 7 births in a whole country - are you sure about that?) Otherwise, there were second highest fertility rates of over 4 births
