The chart below shows the amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and

women of different employment status.

Answer:

The barchart illustrates how leisuretime was enjoyed by males and females in five categories of employment status.

Overall, men enjoyed more leisure time than women in three of categories. However, only figures for women in two other categories – employed part-time and housewives are shown.

Among the unemployed, men spent almost 85 hours per week on leisure time, compared with about 78 hours for women. The figure for retired women was the same as unemployed, while hours of free time of males were slightly lower at 83. The fultime enployed enjoyed less hours of leisure, just about 45 hours per week for men and under 40 hours for women, respectively.

About 50 hours per week were enjoyed by employed part-time women, a difference of almost 10 hours with housewives. There were no figures for men in either of these categories.
