Please help to correct this - how do I log on? I don't want to be anonymous

Although JF had confirmed that he could attend the event on 7 December 2006 in London, unfortunately we are now having to send his apologies as he has been called to a meeting with ................. which he must attend. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

It seems fine to me. Put a comma after apologies .
