Please help to correct my sentence, thanks

We received your claim last Tuesday and had it passed to our account for process. The TT had been sent to the bank yesterday, I believe you should be receiving your claim within these two (2) days.



Please also be reminded that as per contract, your payment will be remitted to your bank within 7 WORKING days.

Hi,
When would you use the passive form "Please be reminded that" and your (what looks to be) active form "Let me also remind you that"? Is that yours is more direct and convey one's intent better?

Also, is "within next two days" OK without the definite article "the" after "within"?

I would not use the passive at all-- it is awkward with this verb.
The definite article is required.
