Please help to check my business letter. ( Re Increase selling price ).
Dear Mr.Ben,
Allow us to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks for the kind cooperation you extended to us over past years. We appreciate all your supports for so long time that is really meant so much to us.
The purpose of this letter is inform you that due to the raw materials price have been continually moving up,apart from raw material price increase in fuel. Inner boxes, chemical materials.etc the approaching labor wage revision bill have significant impact on costing which you should be aware of . We are constrained to revise the selling price for XXX products from 1st January 2008.
Item old price/ carton new price/carton
1. xxxxxxxxx (1x10x60's) $ 12.50 $ 14.50
2. xxxxxxxxx (1x10x5x12's) $ 12.00 $ 15.00
3. xxxxxxxxx (1x8x60's) $ 16.00 $ 18.00
We are sure you would understand the situation and accommodate the revised prices as above mentioned.
Beside this, please kindly let us know the requirements for 2008 monthly as we are in the process of preparing its budgets for the BOD approval.
