Essay & Composition Writing

Please help revise my essay! Thanks!

In this very time when the society develops so quickly and revolutionizes dramatically, people may get ignorant once theystop studying and experiencing. Thus, the most important way of living meaningfully is to gain new knowledge and trydifferent things. Personally, I disagree with the opinion that young people can teach the older nothing.

First of all, we should admit that individuals in the 21st century have to process a great deal of up-to-date informationevery day. They cannot stop because our society has totally been revolutionized by the various media like the Internet.

Therefore, the older must learn new conceptions and ideas. Obviously, learning from the younger is the best way to realizethis goal. For example, my grandfather was an engineer. The team called " Nikaya", which was led by him, was one of the mostwell-know teams in China. His team invented the first solar-energy bus in 2001. Then he retired. One day, my grandfatherasked me about the meaning of the maglev train. He did not know how the specific train can be driven without the friction onthe ground. Although he was an established engineer, he did not know everything about engineering. To conclude, the older canlearn much from the younger, especially high-technique inventions.

Furthermore, older people can learn how to use varied of modern devices from younger people. My uncle Senthil, one of thebest chevies in Taiwan, cooked many sorts of dishes in the biggest restaurant, Nonetheless, he got surprised when he saw themicrowave oven seven years ago. Even, he did not believe that dishes can be heated in such a little and weird "box" in a fewminutes. In contrast, I liked exploring these modern devices. Then I told my uncle about its functions and demonstrated theway of using it. There are too many similar examples in our daily life. Every year, new cookers and electric devices arebeing invented and popularized to families. It is uncommon that older people cannot understand and use these inventions. Soit is evident that younger individuals can teach them the way of using them.

Still, some people may hold an opposite viewpoint that older people need not learn anything from younger people. Granted, older people typically have more experience than younger, and we younger people should learn from the older. But is not aparadox that they cannot learn something from us. To boost our efficiency, it is necessary to work together.

Thanks, I think this is an information age, so the development of society is indeed related to individual's constant studying.
