Please help remove confusions in the following sentence constructions

attack to or attack on?

3. if the attack vector a is in the range of H, i.e., a = Hc, then...

H is a set of numbers.

Is it correct to say "in the range of ..."

I don't think that was grammarfreak's point at all. I think the point was that we really can't help much with your sentences because with no knowledge of the context, we have no idea what you mean by generic stealthy attacks, attack to the top
