Please help refine thewording

Hi,

(1) The topmost session bar describes the 'common data interval' that is formed by the individual point occupations intersecting each other

(2) The topmost session bar describes the 'common data interval' that results from the individual point occupations intersecting each other.

(3) The topmost session bar describes the 'common data interval', that is the interval formed by the individual point occupations intersecting each other.

I guess the idea is clear enough to everyone,... but the wording is bad?

If you could help me polish up these clumsy versions?

Thanks,

Hmm. Not to me I'm afraid. I've no clue what it means! What is a "session bar"? What are "point occupations"? Are these standard terms in some field?
