Topic: The maps below show the changes of an island. Summarise information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

My essay:

The two maps illustrate an island with a beach located in the west and palm trees dotted on the island. The first map is the island before the changes. The second one is the island after its developments toward tourism.

The first map shows a low-lying island with a beach located in the west of the island and some palm trees dotted on the landscape.

The second one shows an island after its tourism developments. Lots of tourism facilties are built on the land. The changes include two blocks of resort built in two circle and three buildings: restaurant, reception, pier. The smaller block of resort including six accommodations are connected with each other by a footpath leading to a swimming zone whereas the bigger one is located in the East. Loacted at the center of the island is a reception connected with a pier lied in the South and a restaurant built in the North by a vehicural track. The pier is a entry gate serving boats. The east end of the island remains unchanged.
