topic ome people believe that visitors to other country should follow local customs and behaviours. Other disagree and think that the host country should welcome cultural differences. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion

One of the highly controversial issue today relates to whether foreign visitor should follow customs and behaviours of host country or host country should welcome cultural differences. In this essay, I am going to examine this question from both points of view and then give my own opinion on the matter .

One side of the argument there are people who argue that the benefits of following local customs considerly outweight its disadvantages. The main reason for believing this is that when international tourists know and understand the law of the place they travel hence they would avoid falling foul of the law. As an example, when I visited Singapore last year, I must throw the trash in right place or into the public basket; if you don’t do this, you will be fined. It is also possible to say that foreign visitors should know host family culture, local etiquettes, thus they communicate suitably with nature people in the place they are living.

On the other hand, it is also possible to make th opposing case. It is often argued that in fact government should accept cultural differences, this will provide the boost to tourism in the city and then enhance economic effectiveness. People often have this opinion because in recent decade there has been a subrtantial diversification of tourist form vartiety of civilization to visit stemming from open policy. A second point is that foreign backpackers tend to travel developing country in order to searching something interesting. A particularly good example here is in my city there are a lot of street for international visitors, in there passengers will enjoy some traditional activities, food combine with a wide range of modern enterirement like music pop stage, street artists. By this way, there will be an improvement of city’s image, furthermore, it undoubtedly attractive more visitors result in promoting economic, environment.

In my opinion, both arguments have theis merits. On balance, however, I tend to believe that each country should welcome diversified culture
