Please help me with writing task 2 ! thank you so much !

Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.

Discuss both these view and give your own opinion.

There are some arguments that children will be a great part of society if they are taught by their parents. Whereas school is believed to be the best place of learning. While I accept that children can study how to be a good person at school, I would argue that parents will help them do that much better.

On the one hand, there are some reasons why they believe that school is the environment of learning good things. One reason is that school always give students some valuable knowledge. Through every lectures or stories, which are each of them has different content types, will be conveyed to students the experiences and the lessons. A Cinderella story is a good example of showing the kindness, open-hearted of princess Cinderella. Also teacher can analysis other part of the story like the unconditional love of stepmother to her daughters which is deeply a lot but in wrong way because she doesn’t share with Cinderella. Then teacher will summarise and give them a lot of lessons from a story : kindness, trust, unconditional love which is truly will help students become a good members of society in the near future.

On the other hand, I believe that mother and father can convey good lectures to children. The first reason is that parents are familiar to their sons or daughters. Children are born by their mother and has been nurtured by both mother and father so parents are the most apparent people in their life. Therefore, they will see the lack of which part of knowledge and will get easier to express idea and ideal which is probably needed to become a good part of society. Another reason is the positive influences which parents have brought to their sons or daughters. For instance, when I was young, my mother was a bright mirror for me to follow in her footsteps. She did help her siblings and even strangers as much as she could. When she saw a adversity from person, she tried to help them by encouraging or doing charity. Witnessing it, I felt the kind and open-hearted from her, then I realized and tried not to be selfish and did help everyone.

In conclusion, although both parents and school have advantageous in their own ways to teach their children to become a good members of society, it seems to me that it is better to be taught by parents.
