Today‘s children are living under more pressure from the society than children in

the past. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Essay:

Nowadays, everything are developed significantly and constantly in around the world. Therefore many people believe that the young generation suffer more pressure than the older generation. In my point of view, I strongly support that opinion.

There are many reasons why children nowadays suffer more pressure than children in the past. The first reason is that children approach the technology extremely soon, so if they don’t manage reasonably they will get negative effects on their awareness. Most of family allow their kids expose to the computer, television or mobile phone when they were just roughly 4 or 5 year old.Therefore some of them can get addicted to games. Moreover, the games, especially violent games have a huge negative influence on children. As a result some children can not control their action as well their emotion.By opposite to them, older generation spend most of their time on outdoor activities such as go fishing, go swimming or play tennis and many other healthy activities.

Secondly, studying is always the biggest pressure that children have to suffer. Some parents usually require them to get the best score but not to encourage them to take balance between studying and relaxation. In some developing countries, student have to go to the extra class every week to improve their knowledge which made them suffer more pressure from not only studying but also from the adult. By contrast, children in the past they just studied at school and did some homework, then they could hangout with their friends. Therefore they have more time for themselves.

In conclusion, children nowadays suffer more stress than the children in the past. Therefore, parents should encourage them on taking balance in life instead of making them more pressure.
