Please help me with this writing exercise

Layne Staley was a singer of the Alice in Chains, a famous band of the '90. He is remebered for his powerful voice full of emotions, and a lifetime of excesses living. When he was young, his family had problems due to his father involving drugs and Mafia businesses. This unhappy family life marked him for the rest of his life. Music was a fundamental part of his life, along with the painting. During high school, his problems became more serious until he was forced to be enrolled in a special school for disturbed youth. At that time, he started to write songs and became a singer of his band. The lyrics of his songs in the Alice in Chains, shine all his deep and sad feelings, accompanied with some angry music, it made his band a Grunge movement symbol. Given a life of serious problems, he was an asocial, the only one love of his life,as he said, was Demri Parrot. When she died of a disease, he's closed into his home. He was found dead, sitting on the armchair, two weeks after he died of an overdose.
