The given chart depicts the number of births per woman in six different countries in Gulf namely Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, S.Arabia and UAE from 1990 to 2000.

Overall, what stands out from the chart is that the fertility rate in Oman was by far the highest during the given period. Additionally, all the figures followed downward trends in ten years.

In 1990, the birth rate in Omen headed the list with 7%, closely followed by S.Arabia at just under 7%. The middle group includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and UAE with no big differences among the numbers.

In 2000, the figures for Oman and S.Arabia were equally popular, at about 5,5%. Approximately 3,4% of the respondents gave births in Qatar, compared to just under 3% from UAE. There is only a 1% difference between Bahrain and Kuwait in fourth to fifth places in terms of birth rate.
