Please, help me with this question!

Hello!

Please, tell me if it is correct to say:

a) "He was so cold that he was blowing his nose all the time";

b) "His nose is running (or flowing out ?) all the time."

I think you're meaning to say here: "His cold [i.e. the viral illness] was so bad, that he was blowing his nose all the time", but there's nothing wrong, grammatically, with "He was so cold that he was blowing his nose all the time".
