It is a striking fact that humans are being put much more pressure on daily works and as a result, time for parents is reduced. This causes a trend in sending parents to nursing houses. Having parents taken care after in caring centres can bring certain benefits but there will be drawbacks.

On the one hand, it is clearly seen that living in caring houses may bring about plenty of benefits. One evident strength is that people can spend more time promoting in jobs and achieving success. In other words, people could concentrate on their works without caring much about their parents’ status and their complaints because of their conservative attitudes. Another reason is that the elderly might have better care in caring centers as the staff in here are qualified and have profession to do this job. Last but not least, the elders could have more fun in these places because they could easily make friends with and talk with other elders who are at the same age with same ways of thinking.

On the other hand, there are some obvious disadvantages that would arise. First, this would destroy the relationship between every members in the family with their grandparents. Second, couples would have more pressure on childcare. That means, it would take more time to care for their sons or daughters if they do not have their grandparents looked for. Finally, young parents could be criticized by the society for sending their parents to nursing homes. This is because the traditional thoughts of the ancestors that it is rude and disobedient if children do not have the duty of taking care of their parents when they get older.

In conclusion, there are some pus points to send their parents to nursing centers: better care, more time to work and better environment for the elderly. Beside that, the downside would emerge consequently in terms of slack relationships, pressure on childcare and traditional beliefs.
