Please help me with this ielts writing task 2.

Topic:
Some people think that the technological advances from space exploration bring many benefits to the world, while others believe that money spent in this way is wasted and would be better spent elsewhere.
Discuss both of these ideas and give your opinion.
My essay:
Many people take a view that the Earth would soon be colonizing other planets, hence, pouring a lot of money into space exploration is reasonable. However, some advocates believe that people are spending too much money on exploring space. Both viewpoints are rational to some extent. Nonetheless, from a personal vantage point, the spin-offs from this endeavor outweigh the costs involved.
On the one hand, it can not be denied that individuals are squandering useful resources on a futile project. On the grounds that people are unlikely ever to able to live on another planet, the research benefits from space exploration are minimal in comparison with the costs involved. Instead of pouring enormous financial resources into these researches, people can improve medical technology as well as tackle global warming’s effects.
On the other hand, the attempt to explore space offers some great advantages. The first positive aspect is that some of technological advances have had a significant impact on citizens’ health. Thanks to space program , methods of detecting and curing some forms of cancer, especially breast cancer, and help for those with serious burns. To illustrate, an advanced ultrasound instrument can assess depth of damage as well as pave the way for treatments that save lives in severe burn cases. Another aspect relates to the fact that space travel broadens people’s horizons. As a part of mankind’s desires, people have always gazed the stars and longed to go there. Furthermore, trying to doing difficult things generates a sense of satisfaction and triumph.
All things considered, although space exploration is expensive, it presents only tiny proportion of the budget of countries with space programmes. Even if people never reach the stars, exploring mysterious heavens has presented a high achievement for mankind and will continue to do so.
