The bar chart reveals the number of city dwellers utilizing public transit by three means in somewhere town from 2012 to 2015.
Overall, the moderate figures were recorded in train passengers in the last 3 years; meanwhile, those of bus and tram witnessed a greater amount in comparison. It was noticeable in 2012 there was a reversal between train users and counterparts.
In 2012, the number of citizens traveling by train was nearly a third higher than that of the bus, which was 80 and 55 thousand respectively. Meanwhile, the figures for tram passengers consisted of a quarter compared to train travelers.
Following then, the number of train commuters dramatically dropped from 80 to 10 thousand in only one year. Subsequently, the people in this category gradually began to use the train for movement more and more, which finished at approximately 63 thousand.
Nevertheless, in 2014 and 2015, the leading position between bus and tram was replaced by each other annually. In 2014, the figures for bus and tram travelers were 70 and 55 thousand; however, the reversal was true for 2015 when the number of tram passengers reached a peak of the chart around 93 thousand.
