Please help me with these FEW sentences?

Could you help me correct these few sentences please?

- The paper is toward/towards the top of the pile.
- Who's the last/most recent Mr Jones you've had stay at your hotel?/who has stayed at your hotel?
- You are better off asking someone for too much money than for too little.
- I don't want you to know what I am writing/what I write.
