The line graph compares the percentage of people in three countries who used the Internet between 1999 and 2009.
The given line graph illustrates the proportion of residents of three different countries (USA, Canada, Mexico) who used the Internet over 20 years starting from 1999.
Overall, it is noticeable that all the figures of the three countries underwent an upward trend. The number of Internet users in Mexico is consistently lower than those in the other two countries over the given period.
In 1999, starting just around 20%, the USA had the highest number of people having the access to the Internet compared to Mexico and Canada users, at 10% and 5% each. Over the following five years, both the USA and Canada grew to 70% of people using the Internet, while in Mexico, it managed to reach just over 25%.
From that date to 2009, there has not been a significant increase in Internet users in Mexico and the USA. In contrast, Canada witnessed a considerable rise and by the end of the period, almost 100% of Canadians had used the Internet.
