Are these sentences correct?
A. He is saying that he don't smoke.
b. We have been trying to convince him that we can do it.
I mean,can reporting verbs be present continuous, past continuous, present perfect continuous, past perfect continuous and all other future tenses? ???

Can we use all reporting verbs like this,
A. It is mentioned that..
b. It is informed that...
C. It is told that...
D. It is promised that...
E. It is warned that ....
F. It is argued that....
And with all other reporting verbs
