Please help me with one term.

When she pulled back and looked up at him with her emerald green eyes, a spark of recognition sliced through him. He’d seen those eyes before. He remembered the tiny gold flecks that danced amidst the green. Where had he seen those eyes before?

What are gold flecks? Is it a special type of eye contacts? I have been diging this out on the internet for hours and I did not find nothing..:-(

I think the author just used the term 'gold flecks' to sound more enchanting. It just means (to my own undeerstanding) GOLDEN GLITTERS.

It's just a description of the person's eyes. Whatever color (probably green), there were little flecks of gold in the iris.

Note that the human iris is not usually uniform in color. Flecks (short thin lines) of various colors, usually radiating from the center, are often present.

Nope, it just means "gold specks" or something along those lines. It's also poetic enough that it would sound absolutely absurd in casual conversation.
