Vocabulary

Please help me with one sentence. Thanks.

Dear all,
Could you explain the sentence below”where dreams are born “ to me?
I don’t understand what it means? Thank you for your answer.

Pinocchio becomes a real boy and lives happily ever after with his father, while David only enjoys a single day of happiness playing with his Mom and toy Ted. And then he goes to “that place where dreams are born”.
B: Sounds like it’s not a happy ending

Thanks again.

adonis1013 And then he goes to “that place where dreams are born” He either falls asleep or dies. The line comes from a science fiction movie, so it is hard to judge what is meant without a synopsis.
