Please help me with my writing task 2

Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary schools rather than secondary school. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Nowadays, people believe that learning a foreign language too early will have some adverse effects on children. However, in my opinion, it has far more advantages than disadvantages.

Children will learn and use languages more naturally due to their ability to memorize them. A study shows that children remember words more easily than adults because of their ability to acquire the language. In addition, learning a foreign language helps children’s brain to become more active, so they will end up smarter. Moreover, children will be more confident and assertive because they can improve their communication skills by learning a new language at school. Last but not least, learning a new language at a young age allows children more time to practice and hone their skills, ensuring that their ability to communicate and express themselves in a foreign language will be perfect by the time they need it to work or study abroad in the future.

On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to learning a language at a young age that we must consider. The main one is that children will not have much time for other valuable activities, such as playing with friends or spending time with their family. If parents do not want their children to grow up and develop diseases such as autism or have poor communication skills, they must carefully manage their children's time. Secondly, without a proper method of teaching, children will quickly get bored and give up on learning. Moreover, the significant quantity of ineffective knowledge they get in the long run will have such an adverse effect on them in the future. Finally, children who do not study a foreign language well enough will develop a language disorder, which is severe for children because they cannot accurately speak either foreign or mother tongues.

Although there are some disadvantages to learning a foreign language at a young age, in my opinion, it always brings more benefits than drawbacks. We should let our kids study a foreign language, especially at the proper age and with the appropriate methods.
