Please Help Me With My Writing Task 1: table

The table below gives information about the underground railway systems in six cities.

The table compares six cities in terms of the opening date, the length of the route, and the total number of passengers of the underground railway network.

Overall, the older railway systems in the ground had longer routes than the newer ones. Additionally, apart from the system located in London, the total annual passengers of those in other cities decreased when the route length was shorter.

London’s underground railway network was opened earliest, in 1863, and had the longest route of 394 kilometers, compared to only 28 kilometers of the network in Los Angeles, which became the newest, in 2001. Kyoto’s system opened in 1981 was the shortest, while the route length of those in Paris, Tokyo, and Washington DC starting to operate in the earlier years was much greater.

In terms of travelers on an annual basis, the systems in Tokyo and Paris had the highest total numbers of 1927 million and 1191 million people, whereas only 775 million and 144 million passengers traveled by the London’s and Washington DC’s railway systems, respectively. By contrast, Kyoto and Los Angeles were two locations having the underground railway networks which were used least.
