Cars are being driven by artificial intelligence these days. The main cause of this is the development of technology nowadays. This development is positive since not only does it provide human means to work more effectively but it also makes driving more safely.
Innovations in the technology field have created an increase in the usage of artificial intelligence in driving vehicles such as cars. Things like Big data and the Internet of Things allow us all to be connected via the Internet and therefore build machines that can learn things through algorithms. By collecting and analyzing data through the Internet, these machines can develop abilities to think and solve problems like a real human. For instance, a survey conducted in Japan has revealed that more than 20% of restaurants in this country use robots as waiters. Moreover, artificial intelligence has brought things to a higher level. Just look at your iPhone with Siri, Alexa and so on. They are examples of how AI is playing a bigger and clearer role in our daily lives.
It should be seen as such a positive hi-tech breakthrough for many causes. The two main ones are its ability to improve productivity as well as driving’s safety. With AI ‘s help, instead of wasting time controlling their cars, people can complete other tasks and leave the driving to the machines. We can spend less time driving and more on important jobs. Moreover, thanks to extremely complex and accurate algorithms, artificial intelligence also be able to decrease 45% of road accidents, according to a recent study in New York. One direct reason for this is that these machines don’t drink alcohol or lack of sleep. They don’t get tired or distracted, which are common problems among drivers. These AI drivers make fewer mistakes, drive more safely and save for time for us humans.
In conclusion, technology advancements have enhanced the ability of artificial intelligence in many fields, especially in driving vehicles, for example - cars. There is no doubt that this should be considered as a positive effect as it can be significantly helpful in reducing the load of boring and repetitive works and tasks as well as create a more safe environment for both the users themselves and other ones taking part in traffic.
