1) I think he is Irish. *I am not sure.
Here when I say “I think he is Irish”, it’s my deduction. So If I had to replace it by a modal auxiliary I would use must .O.K.? But then, as I say that “I am not sure” so should I use “might” instead of must ? I am a little bit confused about this matter. So, what’s the correct option below?
a) He must be Irish. (* I am not sure).
b) He might be Irish. (* I am not sure).
2)It’s extremely necessary that Ursula goes home right now.
In this case, I suppose the correct answer is:
Ursula must go home right now (or) Ursula has to go home right now.
3) He is prohibited from saying four-letter words in this place.
Here I suppose the answers are:
He musn’t say four-letter words in this place (or) He can’t say four-letter words in this place.
