Please help me with my sentence

suppose there is a community that has two members - A and B.

A has absolutely no affection for me, and B has lots of affection for me.

I am trying to emphasize that the level of affection that I received from A is different than the level of affection that I received from B.

Would the sentence "the level of affection that I received from each member of the community was different" imply what I am intending to imply?

No. It doesn't state that you received more affection from B than from A.

I am trying to emphasize that the level of affection that I received from A is simply different than the level of affection that I received from B, rather than specifically mentioning that B has more affection for me than A.

Does my sentence work in this case?

For one thing, there is no reason to include 'level of'—that complicates your sentence unnecessarily. Be concise:

The affection I received from community members varied.
