1. Introduction

The evolution of the technology along with more and more electrical devices were created in order to serve human life. This lead to the social media are widely used by everybody for a lot of purpose such as communication, business or even education. The social media is a tool which have ability for students to access more useful information. It also help them in connect with learning group or various different education systems.

• Aim of study

This report aims to review the benefit of social media and suggest some electrical devices to announce for students and teacher.

• Structure of this study

In this the first part of the study, we discuss and analyze some benefit of technology to education area. The effect of the technology on education can be seen easily nowadays. In the beginning people only use the internet to communicate with each other. After that more and more people use the social media as a “share workplace”. And now in 21^st century, technology is transforming more than ever. Technology not only have a big impact on the way student gain their knowledge bus also changing professors’ teaching method. Johnson and Maddox indicate that the evolution of social media bring on the benefit for graduated education. Norman (2016) describe that teaching will be easier because of images, video will help students have a specific about the lesson. Thanks to the internet, the students and teachers can flexible exchange information, homework or feedback to each other. Using the internet in study will make students more excited in the lesson. Babson Survey Research Group made a survey from 1000 university and college in order to find out the impact of the internet in higher education. The result turn out that most students used the internet especially Facebook as a part of their study, while the other used them in entertainment.

In the second part of the study, we will suggest various devices which can apply to education. Nowadays, there are many devices which have functions help students in education. Agustina, Noni, Budhisantoa and Nugroho (2018) define that e-learning is used the teaching and learning process involving the technology such as computer network (internet/intranet) or multimedia. Throne and Black (2011) conducted a study which showed that teachers can design many interesting communication tasks using smartphones. This is also mention in Aldyn work in 2012 facebook growth the motivate in study by some activities on facebook, not only improve second language in reading and writing, but also for many different subject such as art, business and chemistry.

1. Conclusion

All the interviewees’ conclusions were very similar to the each other. They said that using educational technology tools help them to save time, help them to make more practices and it made learning more interesting. In addition to these findings, interviews also showed that technology, especially computers and the internet are in our daily lives and they have been used many times a day. As an example, according to the interviewees’ answers on “How much time do you spend on the computer nearly in a day?” their answers were approximately 4-5 hours a day. It looks like that computer and the Internet are some of the main necessities for people especially for young people such as university students. When I asked the question to them about if they were using any technology tools while studying, some of them were giving me negative answers even though I knew that they were using computers and the Internet. In some points of interviews, I needed to ask them more specific questions to get real answers. It was a very interesting observation for me to realize that using computer and Internet become a regular routine for them and they did not think that they should have talked about these tools while answering the questions. I believe that especially students and teachers need to be more aware of all the improvements in technology and try to benefit from it. Using educational technology tools will help both students and teachers to be more successful, efficient and practical in their lives. Also, we all need to be more open-minded about technological innovations and open out windows to the future’s novelties to be able to communicate with future generations.
