Please, help me with my questions !

Please, can you help me with the sentences below ?

1) I hope to spend more time (or) I hope spending more time. ?

2) Is it correct to say "strong sun". E.g.: I like to go to the beach and appreciate the strong sun.

3) Is it correct to say: During an interview the speech must be well spoken. ?

4) He planned to travel to Haiti in the following week (or simply : He planned to travel to Haiti the following week.). ?

5) The director had done a lot of interviews yesterday. Is it correct to say this ?

6) I like to work at a hotel (or) I like to work in a hotel ? (are both forms acceptable ?).

7) The fast food sells (or) fast food sells hamburgers. ?
