The chart shows the percentage of a car manufacturer's total sales in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

The bar chart demonstrates the revenue of the automobile manufacturer in four selected continents between 2006 and 2010.

Overall, there exists a clear distribution in the regions. The majority is occupied by Asia and Europe while the number of cars consumed in South and North America are merely minority.

To commence with, the proportions of Asia as well as Europe experienced upward trends throughout the period. Asia began at 30%, gradually increased in the following years and overtook Europe as the company’s principal market, contributing up to half of its turnover in 2010. Otherwise, the percentages of Europe had some fluctuations when starting with the steady speed in the first three consecutive years, climbing by 4% to 6%. However, the rates suddenly dropped in 2009 and hit the lowest point to approximately 29% in 2010.

As can be seen from the chart, it recorded downward trends in the percentages of South and North America. The share of South America was great in 2006, nevertheless, when it came to the following three years, the ratios were only one fifth of the total sales. The most outstanding point was the significant decrease in 2010 to 9%, a small fraction. The last area is North America with the least selling outcomes that slightly votatiled over the years. They initially accounted for one tenth of the 2006 column and fell continuously in 2007 together with 2008 to nearly 6% and 4% respectively. Conversely, they dramatically grew to more than 10% in 2010.
