I shall always remember the day when I attended my friend’s birthday party. The day which shocked the whole world, left behind a fear inside every single person including me.

On Friday, December 13, 2019, I had an opportunity to come to my friend’s birthday party. The invitation was a little bit mysterious . It said that “ the party starts at 12a.m and ends at 3a.m, do not bring your phone”. At first I was concerned about going to the party but he was my best friend and this would be the last time I met him because he was going to America the next week so I decided to come to his party. Exactly at 12a.m, I had arrived at his house. His house was enchanting, delicate and luxurious. He stood in front of his door, welcoming everyone who came to his party. When we all settled in our seat, he gently declared the agenda of the party and he wished all of us to have a great night with him. Suddenly, he laughed out loud and then all the lights were off. At first I did not know what just happened, I thought It was just a blackout but all sudden everyone in the house heard a scream. Then the lights came up again and the scene in front of my eyes was unbelievable. A woman, with blood coming out everywhere, was lying on the floor. I took out my phone to call the police but I realized that I did not bring my phone. Coming out of nowhere, a nasty voice said that we only had two hours to find our way out of the house . It continued,“While finding the way out, there will be a blackout every 30 minutes and one of you will die. Good luck!” We started to find the way out, I could not imagine that one day I was on the brink of death. I desperately found something in the house that was hard enough to break the door or simply just a key but the result was zero. After 30 minutes of finding, that nasty voice came out again and another blackout started. But this time, there were no screams, completely silence. I thought I was dead. However, there was someone standing in front of me and the lights came up, I saw my best friend and I was relieved. He said that everything was in his plan. He wanted to leave a good memorable experience for us, so he planned this out to make everyone surprised it. Turned out that the woman lying on the ground was an actress and the blood was fake. We all burst into laugh. We enjoyed the party until 3a.m and said goodbye to him.

That might be the most exciting birthday party I have ever been to. Sadly I have to say goodbye to him but I hope that one day I will be able to attend his birthday party again.
