Young people nowadays do not give enough time helping their communities. to what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued that today youngsters do not contribute adequate time to assist their community. Personally, I concur entirely with this because young people now often spend most of their time focusing on their studies and work, and others waste their time on several forms of entertainment such as social media or playing games without taking any notice of their community.

To begin with, youngsters now dedicate their time to their studies and work. First, they are made to learn hard at school and have a lot of extra lessons after school. This is believed to help young people have more opportunities to enter the top universities and then have a secure and stable jobs in the future. Second, after leaving college, they focus on finding a suitable job to earn their living. This is challenging and tires them out. As a result, youngsters now often lead a busy life and give insufficient time on community or other social issues.

On top of that, some young people now misspend their time on social media or playing games for entertainment in their spare time but devote themselves to life. It can be seen in many bars, restaurants, and parks that the sight of numerous youngsters pick up their phones, surf the Internet, or play games. They see smartphones as a form of entertainment after stressful work. They blame their work for not having enough time to support the community.

To sum up, I firmly agree that youngsters do not give enough attention to society because they devote more time to their studies and work, and misspend their youth on useless activities.
