Essay & Composition Writing

Please help me with my cause/solution response.

Dear Experts,

I've written a response to a cause/solution question.

You please correct it and give comments as much as you could.

Thank you so much in advance.

-------------

Here's the question:

The level of noise around us is constantly increasing, and is affecting the quality of our lives. What causes the noise? What should be done about it?

-------------

And here's my response:

The steadily increasing noise volume in humans' habitats is having negative impacts on our lives. Although many factors might have been taken into consideration, heavy traffic may be the main reason to this, which could be controlled by governments spending more money on public transportation to relieve the tension on the roads.

To begin with, overpopulated living environments of humans are leading to various problems including too busy roads. While the quality of a number of trails has been not only remained mostly unchanged but also down-graded, the proportion of the world's population owning private vehicles have been constantly increasing in recent years due to their better economic conditions. Too many vehicles using the roads is causing severe noise pollution as their engines and horns produce constant loud disturbing sounds during the day.

To solve this problem, governments should take drastic actions such as funding public transport systems so as to better their quality and capability of delivering passengers. Commuters must be encouraged to use buses or underground systems rather than their private cars by greater benefits they gain from public transport. Low-priced tickets and high quality services are promises from public transportation in order for the public to take it into account. Also, TV advertisements to raise communities' awareness of replacing their own vehicles with public transportation to make their habitats better places to live should be publicized and spread through out the world. Once traffic is reduced, noise pollution will gradually disappear from earth.

In conclusion, when it comes to noise pollution, traffic is considered the remarkable contribution, which may be completely sorted out by serious actions from authorities.
