The tables illustrate the sales data of two different fairtrade items: tea and pineapple in five Europe countries during the five-year period.

Comparing the two tables, in 2010, sales of fairtrade-labelled tea and pineapples ranged from 1.6 to 4 million euros, with Austria the only outlier. By 2015, sales figures for both products had risen across the board, expect for Norway and Germany.

In two places, tea sales increased by a same small amount: 2.8 to 3 million euros in Germany and 1.8 to 2 million euros in Norway. However, these two countries showed a different pattern, with nearly one-million-euro falls in pineapple sales. Besides that, the increments of tea and pineapple sales were slightly larger in Netherlands from 2 to 2.7 million euros and from 1.6 to 5 million euros respectively.

Of the two other nations, the Austria’s fairtrade pineapples was the highest growth in both tables, jumping to 48 million euros by 2015; otherwise, France sales only rose from 2 to 6.5 million euros. By contrast, there was a more enormous increase in France than in Austria according to tea sales figure.
